Pastor Thad

Pastor Thad Gifford has a great love for God's work with more than 45 years in ministry, pastoring churches in Ohio, Virginia, and Kentucky. He has served as a NAMB church planter, and on the Metro Columbus Baptist Association Executive Committee.

Pastor Thad is the Founding Pastor of Crossroads Community Church, and is a graduate of Clear Creek Baptist Bible College in Pineville, Kentucky, with dual degrees in Religious Education and Theology.
He and his wife, Beth have four boys and have lived in London for over 20 years.

Pastor Thad believes it's important for a Pastor to live in the Community he serves so he can know his people and relate to their problems and needs. He also believes it's important to be "in house" on Sunday morning! You will never watch a message on a screen at Crossroads - we feel it's important to have "one-on-one" contact. Iron sharpens iron! That's important and at Crossroads, you'll feel welcome the first time you step foot inside the building.

We love God and we love people and we want you to know that when you draw your last breath, you WILL spend your eternity in Heaven. We'll show you how you can know for sure. If you're looking for a Sunday morning pep talk, Crossroads is not the Church for you. We encourage our people to bring their Bibles, and a pen and notepad to take notes. We actually open our Bibles and share relevant messages that will help you through your week. No "smoke and mirrors" here! Just the Word of God, the love of God and the Hope that God gives His people!

Heidi Orahood
Worship Leader

We enter into a "NEW SEASON" of Worship at Crossroads Church!
Crossroads is honored to introduce our new Worship Leader, Heidi Orahood, a born -again, Spirit filled, experienced, Worship Leader who God has brought our way! Heidi has led Worship in a number of genres and will now be leading at Crossroads. We are blessed to have her!

Heidi directs the activities of the Worship Team as well as the Technology team. She brings many years of worship music experience in guiding authentic worship experience in various churches in central Ohio.
Heidi's experience, combined with a conviction that worship is a Biblical and heartfelt foundation, is one more way God has blessed us by providing congregational worship as a joyful expression of our love of Him and all He does for us.

She and her husband Herb and their three daughters are all involved in the Church and we look forward to seeing what God has in plan for them at Crossroads!

Crossroads is "The Church for People Who Don't Like Church!" Why do we say that? Because when we ask people why they don't go to church they tell us they have been to church and had a bad experience, or just didn't seem to fit in.

At Crossroads, we don't care if you have ink, metal, or green hair! We don't look on the outside and you will never be judged. We will accept you where you are and love you to where God wants you to be!

Joe Johnson
Youth Ministry Leader

Joe Johnson serves as our Middle and High School Youth Leader, bringing many years of experience working with young people in school, coaching, and ministry.

Joe has been a teacher for over 25 years and holds a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education as well as a Masters Degree in the Art of Teaching. He also holds a Certificate in Biblical Studies. Joe is also the Coach for the Boys Eighth Grade basketball team and the Team finished the Season is grand style! Congratulations!!!

Joe and his wife Alison have been married 32 years and are residents of London. They have four children.
